I'm Ranjana Siva, an urban-landscape architect and planner based in Cambridge, UK. Committed to sustainable designs and resilient cities, my journey began during my bachelor's degree where I had the opportunity to work on and present academic papers on environmental concerns and resilient cities at the World Resources Forum 2017 in Geneva.
I believe healthy humans and a healthy environment are only by conscious planning to reduce dependency on private vehicles, increase public transport, provide slow mobility options, and plenty of green lungs in the city. My work experience in private planning agencies has helped me understand the current policy and planning trends in the global context. My master's degree aligns with the philosophy of nature-based solutions -focused on sustainability in urban contexts, reflecting my interest in fueling socio-ecological interaction. With multi-geographical work experiences, I'm well-versed in urban-landscape design of the East, Mediterranean, and Scandinavian contexts. The technical skills I have acquired over the years reflect those necessary for the role of an urban-landscape planner.
In a parallel world, I am slow traveling on my bike, volunteering and teaching yoga!
